Clinic
Online therapy across Pakistan and overseas
Sessions by video or audio with the same Karachi psychologists who see clients in our clinics — anywhere in Pakistan, and in every time zone.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, this page is not the right place — and an online appointment is not the right route. Here is what to do →
Who this is for
People elsewhere in Pakistan — Islamabad, Lahore, and smaller cities where the choice of qualified clinical psychologists is thin or non-existent. You get the same clinician you would sitting in PECHS.
Pakistanis abroad. We see clients in Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Kuwait, Canada and the United States. For many the point is not convenience but being understood without explaining the context first — the family structure, the expectations, the language a thing is felt in.
People in Karachi who cannot get to a clinic — work that does not release you between 10am and 8pm, no transport, a small child at home, or not wanting to be seen walking into a psychology practice in your own neighbourhood. All good reasons, none needing explanation.
How a session runs
Sessions are 50 minutes, the same as in clinic, by video or audio on the platform you prefer. If you would rather not be on camera, audio is a real option and not a lesser one.
The clinical standard does not change with the medium. The same assessment-first approach applies: an initial session works out what is going on before anything else, and you are matched by speciality rather than by who is free.
What you need: an uninterrupted private space, a connection you trust, and headphones if you have them.
Time zones and hours
The clinic runs Monday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm Pakistan Standard Time, and appointments are arranged across all time zones. From the UK that means PHC's afternoon and evening; from Australia, PHC's morning. Tell us where you are and we will come back with times that are civilised at both ends, not only at ours.
What you can and cannot do online
Therapy works online — individual work, couples work, and most of the modalities our clinicians use.
Some things are better in the room. Whether a formal assessment can be delivered online depends on which instrument is clinically warranted, so ask rather than assume. Work with young children usually needs the room, because play-based work depends on materials and a space set up for it.
And if there is immediate risk, online is the wrong tool. A psychologist on a video call in another city cannot reach you. Where somebody is in danger, local in-person help comes first, and we will say so rather than book a session.
Who you would see
The same psychologists who work in our clinics — every one postgraduate-qualified in clinical psychology with over 800 supervised clinical hours. Qualifications, hours and areas of practice are on the team page.
Questions about online sessions
Is there anything that is not suitable for an online session?
Yes, and we will tell you rather than let you find out. Some formal assessments must be administered in person. Work with young children usually needs the room. And where there is immediate risk to somebody's safety, online is the wrong tool — local, in-person help comes first.
I do not have a private room at home. What can I do?
This is the most common practical obstacle and it is usually solvable. A parked car works, and so does a different hour — early morning before the house is up, or later in the evening. Tell us it is a constraint when you enquire and we will build the appointment around it.
What happens if the connection drops in the middle of a session?
Your psychologist will try to reconnect, and if the connection has gone entirely they will call you. Time lost to a genuine technical failure is not time you have paid for and lost — we will make it up or rearrange.
How do time zones work if I am not in Pakistan?
Tell us where you are and we will offer times that work at both ends. Online appointments are arranged across all time zones by appointment.
If you would rather come in
Both Karachi clinics are open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm: PECHS on Shaheed-e-Millat, and DHA in Phase 8. Some people start online and come in later, or the other way round.
Book an online session
Message us on WhatsApp, call, or use the booking page. To match you we need six details: patient name, age, presenting issue, preferred psychologist gender, online or in-person, and whether the patient is a minor or elderly. Add your city or country so we can offer workable times.
Booking reaches us as an enquiry — we confirm your slot by call or WhatsApp. Fees vary by psychologist and by service and are confirmed before payment, and a slot is confirmed once advance payment has been received. If you are paying from outside Pakistan, say so when you enquire and payment is arranged by bank transfer.
Not sure if this is us? Ask. We will tell you directly whether we can help, and refer you elsewhere if we cannot.
Everything on this page is general information about our services. It is not a diagnosis, not treatment, and reading it does not create a clinician–client relationship.
Speaking to someone starts here
PHC is appointment-only. Message or call and a real person answers — Monday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm PKT.
Not sure whether this is us? Contact us anyway. We will tell you directly whether we can help, and refer you elsewhere if we cannot.
Six details, and we can match you
- Name of the person who will attend
- Their age
- What is going on, in your own words
- Whether you would prefer a male or female psychologist
- Online, or in clinic in Karachi
- Whether the person attending is a minor or elderly
If someone else is paying, we will also ask for guardian or payer details. A slot is held once the booking payment is received — half the fee, at least 24 hours ahead.
