Therapeutic focus
From Aisha's own profile:
"Aisha's work particularly focuses on helping individuals develop a healthier relationship with themselves by exploring self-esteem, emotional regulation, attachment patterns, childhood experiences, and relational dynamics. Her approach considers how past experiences and underlying emotional patterns can influence present day thoughts, behaviors, relationships, and sense of self. She tailors therapy to each client's needs, with an emphasis on self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and meaningful personal growth."
That is what "integrative" means in practice on her list of nine approaches. Client-centred and psychodynamic-informed work asks where a pattern came from; CBT and DBT work on what it is doing now; attachment-informed and trauma-focused work sits between the two. Which of them a session draws on is decided by the person in the room, not fixed in advance.
Assessments, workshops and training
Alongside therapy, Aisha carries psychological and psychodiagnostic assessments for children and adults, and behavioural therapy with neurodivergent children and adolescents.
She also runs workshops on emotional regulation, stress management and energy management, and trains and mentors aspiring psychologists — which is the same programme PHC runs its internship placement through, and one of the reasons the practice takes students as well as clients.
- CBT
- DBT
- Trauma therapy
- ADHD and autism assessment
Sessions are 50 minutes, in clinic in Karachi or online. Which clinic and which times are confirmed when you book — psychologists are matched on speciality and presenting needs, not on who happens to be free.
You can ask for Aisha by name when you send your details, and we will tell you plainly whether there is a slot and who else fits if there is not. Booking at PHC starts as an enquiry rather than a confirmed appointment: we come back to you by phone or on WhatsApp with a psychologist, a time and a fee, and nothing is charged until you have agreed to all three.
Everything on this page is general information about a member of our clinical team. It is not a diagnosis, not treatment, and reading it does not create a clinician–client relationship.
Speaking to someone starts here
PHC is appointment-only. Message or call and a real person answers — Monday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm PKT.
Not sure whether this is us? Contact us anyway. We will tell you directly whether we can help, and refer you elsewhere if we cannot.
Six details, and we can match you
- Name of the person who will attend
- Their age
- What is going on, in your own words
- Whether you would prefer a male or female psychologist
- Online, or in clinic in Karachi
- Whether the person attending is a minor or elderly
If someone else is paying, we will also ask for guardian or payer details. A slot is held once the booking payment is received — half the fee, at least 24 hours ahead.
