Falahat's specialisation is psychological assessment alongside psychotherapy. At PHC that means both administering assessments and carrying the therapy that follows from them, rather than handing the report to someone else.

Assessments are administered with internationally validated instruments and produce a written clinical report. Every one of them begins with an initial session to establish which tests are clinically warranted.

Their clinical expertise covers children, adolescents and adults, and extends to neurological conditions including Parkinsonism alongside the psychological presentations listed above. The 4,000+ clinical hours and the 18 years in the credential block are the measure of that range — PHC publishes the figures rather than an adjective, here and on every other profile.

Falahat also lectures at university level, and is a lifetime member of both the Pakistan Psychological Association and the Pakistan Association of Cognitive Therapists.

Sessions are 50 minutes, in clinic in Karachi or online. Which clinic and which times are confirmed when you book — psychologists are matched on speciality and presenting needs, not on who happens to be free.
